DAWO leads initiatives that promote environmental conservation and conflict resolution, particularly in regions affected by charcoal burning. Through our Peace and Human Rights Centre, we mediate environmental disputes and guide communities toward sustainable practices. Our tree plantation campaigns and efforts to shift communities from environmentally harmful activities to sustainable livelihoods have made a significant impact in preserving Puntland’s natural resources.
